Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Quatorze Lithographies Originales de Toulouse Lautrec Pour Illustrer des Chansons. [Paris: H. Lefebre, 1935]. One of only twenty copies printed in green ink on China paper, from a total edition of 140 (the remaining 120 printed in black). Fourteen loose lithographs laid into the original printed portfolio. Approximately 12.75 x 8.75 inches. Minor rubbing to portfolio, about fine.

A superb issue of lithographs first issued in 1895, these fourteen lithographs are cover designs by Toulouse-Lautrec for various songs composed by Desire Dihau, based on the poetry of Jean Richepin. The titles of the songs are: Achetez Mes Belles Violettes; Ballade de Noel; L'Hareng Saur; Oceano Nox; Le Secret; Les Vieux Papillons; Berceuse; Le Fou; Les Papillons; Les Hirondelles de Mer; Floreal; Ce Que Dit a Pluie; Etoiles Filantes; Adieu.
