Inscribed by Wright on the title-page: "To Irving Berkman/Frank/Lloyd/Wright/[flourish]/58". Oblong quarto. [iv], 561, [1, blank] pages. With several illustrations and chapter headings inserted throughout. Publisher's full brown cloth, front board and spine stamped in silver and red. Cloth spine sunned and edgeworn, with a tear at the headcap; binding rubbed, some wear, bumping to corners; some moderate soiling to binding. Some toning to endleaves and text, one chapter heading page with crease at lower corner due to paper imperfection. Some soiling to edge of text block. Recipient's bookplate on front pastedown.
