Andy Warhol. The Philosophy of Andy Warhol (From A to B and Back Again). New York: Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, [1975]. First edition, inscribed by Warhol with an original drawing of a Campbell's soup can on the half-title: "To Simon Rata / Andy Warhol;" additionally initialed by Warhol in marker. Octavo (8.25 x 5.25 inches; 209 x 130 mm.). [xiv], 241, [1, blank] pages. Publisher's red cloth backstrip over yellow boards, front board stamped in black, spine stamped in black and white, rear board stamped in white. Original dust jacket. Light rubbing to binding; Warhol's initials have bled through to following leaves; some soiling to fore-edge of text block. Binding very slightly skewed. Dust jacket spine very lightly sunned; light rubbing, edgewear to binding; light occasional thumbsoiling to jacket; an area of laminate poorly applied to the front jacket panel near the top (most likely a printer's error). Near fine. From the James C. Seacrest Collection.
