    [John Ruskin]. [Sammelband]. Group of Eight Works on the Works of Turner and Millais. London and Kent: Various publishers, 1857-1887. Eight pamphlets, six with their original printed paper wrappers, bound in one volume. Five works by John Ruskin, one from the Royal Academy of Arts, and duplicate copies of a work by W.G. Rawlinson. Bound in half pebbled morocco over marbled paper covered boards with gilt rules, five raised bands with gilt rules and gilt title "Notes on/ Turner/ and/ Millais" "John Ruskin" in compartments, upper edge gilt, marbled endpapers to match cover. Eight bookplates of "George A.P.H. Duncan" with a ship illustration on front pastedown, covers and facing pages. Boards rubbed, spine rubbed and scuffed, small holograph pencil marks, light foxing, soiling and smudging; else in very good condition. From the William E. Fredeman Collection.
