With Which is Given a Collection of Twenty Autograph Letters (in Facsimile) from Millais to the Dalziels During the Progress of the Work. [London]: Camden Press by Charles Dalziel, [1902]. "The number of copies of this book possible is under fifty...". Large quarto. Twenty mounted wood engraved plates, twenty-one tipped-in facsimile letters, one facsimile pen and ink sketch, and subscriber list. Title page in red and black. Full black morocco with gilt facsimile Millais autograph and titles on the font cover, five raised spine bands, upper edge gilt, gilt dentelles, and decorative endpapers. Boards rubbed, scratched, and soiled, front joint cracking, spine damaged with loss of center two compartments and tears; front hinge repaired, holograph pen gift inscription on front fly-leaf, light edge wear, occasional smudges or minor foxing; otherwise in very good condition.
