    [Fashion and Costume]. Collection of Approximately 550 Fashion Plates. [Various places: circa 1819-1899]. Original prints excised from magazines. Quarto to octavo sizes. Some toning, foxing to plates, some plates with creases, but the color, in general, is still quite vibrant. Generally good or better. Housed in four modern albums in plastic sleeves. These engravings, mainly from the Victorian Era, are from a variety of magazines, including (but not limited to): La Mode Illustrée, Journal des Demoiselles, Petit Courrier des Dames, Le Follet, Graham's Paris Fashions, Englishwoman's Domestic Magazine, Harper's Weekly, Le Moniteur de la Mode, Peterson's Magazine, Frank Leslie's Lady's Magazine, Godey's Fashions and Miroir des Modes.
