Publisher's light blue cloth, front and spine lettered in black; all edges of the text block trimmed; in the original illustrated dust jacket. Board edges and spine sunned; mild shelf wear at extremities of binding; spine ends pushed; spot of red soiling at bottom of front joint. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; a bit of rubbing at lower corner and some light surface abrasions. Handful of faint spots of foxing scattered throughout first several leaves. Mild rubbing and soiling to jacket with slight wear along edges, joint and flap folds; rip at rear flap extending inward from fold, about three and a half inches long; a few small chips, short tears, and soft creases to rear flap.
