Inscribed and Signed by Warhol, with Six Unpublished Candid Photos Laid In

Andy Warhol. The Philosophy of Andy Warhol (From A to B and Back Again). New York: Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, [1975]. First edition. Presentation copy, inscribed by Warhol on the half-title, "To Beverly / with love / Andy Warhol", with a large drawing of the iconic Campbell's Soup can. Also initialed by Warhol vertically in black marker on the same page. Inscribee's inscription, dated 1976, and original drawing to verso of front free endpaper. Additionally laid in are six unpublished, candid, original photographs taken by the inscribee featuring Warhol and guests, presumably at Warhol's home studio in New York. Photographs measure approximately 3.5 x 5 inches. Three have some paper-loss to verso, one with a lightly abraded corner. Octavo. [xiv], 241, [1, blank] pages. Publisher's orange cloth backstrip over yellow paper boards, spine lettered in black and white. Mild toning and shelfwear to boards with one softly bumped upper corner. Dust jacket shows some minor wear to edges with a few small tears. Faint stain to verso of front panel. Overall near fine.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
