First edition, signed by the author, "Andy Warhol / Palm Beach 1975,"and with his hand-drawn illustration of the famous Campbell's soup can he designed, on which he wrote "Campbells/Soup," and an inscription above. Octavo (8.25 x 5.5 inches; 216 x 138 mm). 241 pages. Housed in original dust jacket showing price of $7.95; minor wear to extremities. Accompanied by a 1975 newspaper clipping of the book signing where the autograph and drawing was obtained. Outer edges of pages are foxed. Otherwise both book and dust jacket are in very good condition.

    First edition of the American pop artist Warhol's assemblage of quotes about love, beauty, fame, work, sex, time, death, etc. Ghost written by frequent collaborator Pat Hackett and magazine editor Bob Colacello, The Philosophy of Andy Warhol contains excerpts from taped interviews with Warhol.

    A rare copy of the first edition signed by Warhol with a drawing by him.
