With a Free Frank Signed by Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson. S. G. Heiskell. Andrew Jackson and Early Tennessee History and Andrew Jackson Signed Free Frank Envelope. Nashville: Ambrose Printing Company, 1920-21. Second edition. Three octavo volumes. xii, 669; viii, 640; 712 pages. Illustrated. Publisher's original maroon cloth lettered and decorated in gilt on the front boards and spines. Modest shelf wear to the edges of the boards; a bit of fading to the spines, chiefly volume I; occasional pencil marginalia, else very good condition. Housed in a custom half-leather slipcase. Accompanied by an undated Free Frank envelope with a City of Washington postmark and signed in full by Jackson. The envelope is mounted at the corners to the front pastedown of volume I. The envelope bears the usual fold creases and exhibits some scattered soiling, otherwise it is in very good condition. From a private collection in North Carolina.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
