Octavo (6.5" x 9"), [1-8], 9-176, [177-178] uncut pages. This unique work by Surrealist Andre Breton (1896-1966), which takes its title from the Star card in the Tarot deck, is based on the theme of Arcanum 17, the Utopian quest for "light," which "can only be known by way of three paths: poetry, liberty, and love."
