Providence: Webb Brothers & Co, Printed by the Providence Press Company, 1869. First edition. Inscribed by Wanton S. Webb. Quarto. 568 pages. Original full brown cloth, gilt stamped on front cover. Mild rubbing and dust soiling with hints of biopredation on covers. Corners and spine ends slightly bumped. A bit of sunning on spine. Some staining on page edges, affecting outer margins of first half of the text. Light toning and scattered foxing that is typical with age, heaviest on edges and preliminary and terminal sheets. A very good copy.
