After completing his two terms as President of the United States in 1909, Roosevelt embarked on major hunting trip to Africa, consisting of more than 250 people, to gather specimens for the Smithsonian. The venture was partially underwritten by Roosevelt's publisher, Scribner's, who provided Roosevelt with a $50,000 commission to produce a series of articles which resulted in this book. The book, while recording every animal killed by Roosevelt and his son Kermit, shows that Roosevelt was more than just a hunter, but one who possessed a scientific mind as he offers detailed descriptions of the ornithological, botanical, anthropological, and paleontological aspects of the African wilderness. Roosevelt's African Game Trails is considered one of the most famous big-game hunting books.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
