    The American Annual Cyclopaedia and Register of Important Events of the Year 1861. New York: D. Appleton & Co., 1862. Quarto. 780 pages. Half brown morocco over marbled boards with gilt-stamped spine. Corners rubbed with boards showing through, heavy edgewear with some losses, worming to head and foot of spine with losses, rear hinge weak, rubbed. Endpapers somewhat foxed, some worming to front hinge, dampstaining to rear endpapers. Internally generally clean; intermittent thumbsoiling and foxing, some dampstaining to rear of text block, top edge darkened, minor text block edgewear and soiling. Good or better. From the A. D.
