Original dark red cloth with gilt lettering on spines. Top edges gilt. Moderate rubbing and extremity wear on covers, lower corners bumped with boards showing. A few places over-opened. Volume I has spine leaning, minor stain affecting top edges of textblock. light scattered foxing on preliminary and terminal sheets. Hinges starting in Volume II. Very good.
