Edition limited to five hundred numbered and signed copies, of which this is copy numbered 33 and signed by the author on the limitation page. [xviii], 239 pages. Unopened. Tipped-in frontispiece color sketch. Illustrations and maps, few folding. Folding map at back "Showing location of forts, with a pictorial history of the fur trades." Publisher's cloth with gilt title and illustration on front cover, gilt title on spine. Binding rubbed, color faded. Textblock leans downward, somewhat loose at rear hinge, which has a small tear and minor paper loss near head. Bookseller's small pencil annotations on front and rear free endpapers. Map of forts with stain in its upper left corner, not affecting images. Very good.
