Tipped-in frontispiece portrait photo of Uley Scheer, tipped-in folding landscape photo of Tin Cup, folding facsimile of "Tin Cup. Patent for the Township", folded facsimile newspaper, and several other illustrations. Publisher's cloth with title label on front cover, title on spine. Envelope (once tipped-in) loosely laid in at rear covers containing two tokens. Binding lightly soiled, glue remnants around title label, boards warped, corners and spine ends bumped. Endpapers discolored along margins and gutters, rear endpaper with creases and small tears. Page with frontispiece lightly rippled, small glue remnants along upper edge with light transfer to title page. Newspaper facsimile with fold and edge wear, small edge tears. Few page edges with light foxing. Very good.
