Sixth edition, greatly Improved (first edition with these illustrations). With the rare front wrapper.Octavo. 63 pages. Engraved frontispiece (possibly) by William Charles and thirteen intertextual engravings by William Mason. In original wrappers. Wrappers worn and a bit faded, spine of wrapper perished, tape repair to rear wrapper, text toned, gatherings a bit loose at top and bottom, some wear to text. Still a very good copy of this rare and fragile item (Ford states in his bibliography of Weems that only two other copies are known to have the front wrapper). From the collection of Zita Books.
