Kendall, Amos: KENDALL'S EXPOSITOR FOR 1841: CONTAINING AN EPITOME OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF CONGRESS AT THE MEMORABLE EXTRA SESSION: ALSO, DISSERTATIONS UPON CURRENCY, EXCHANGES, THE TARIFF, AND OTHER TOPICS. WITH A SUMMARY OF CURRENT NEWS. VOL. I. Washington: William Greer, 1841. Contemporary marbled boards and decorated half leather [some rubbing and fading]. xvi [Index], 8 [Extra], 416pp [Volume I, Nos. 1-26], with added title page and index. February 3 - December 16, With much information on political activities, slavery, banking disputes, elections, etc. Kendall, a Jacksonian from Kentucky, was a charter member of Andrew Jackson's Kitchen Cabinet. His visceral dislike of the Whig program of tariffs, internal improvements, and a National Bank is much in evidence here. Included is Kendall's Expositor Extra, March 30, 1841, in 8 pages. The Extra prints President Harrison's call for an Extra Session of Congress, and Kendall's long denunciation of Whig banking policies. FIRST EDITION. Sabin 37363.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
