John Coulter, editor. Salesman Sample. The Complete Story of the Galveston Horror. Written by the Survivors. [No place]: United Publishers of America, 1900. Salesman's sample with 8 ledger pages bound in back for logging orders. 8vo. With excerpts from five chapters and several illustrations. Publisher's original brown cloth with titles stamped in gilt and black on the front board and illustrated vignette mounted on the front board.

The customer had a choice of ordering the book bound in silk-grain cloth ($1.50) or half-morocco ($2.25). The salesman to whom this sample belonged, took orders for 12 copies of the cloth edition. The names of the customers are written in pencil on the first ledger back in the back.

Condition: Very good. Some staining to the boards and a few instances of pencil notations on the front endpapers. Some loss to titling.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
