Contemporary brown leather with titles stamped in gilt on morocco spine labels. Marbled edges and endpapers.
Condition: Very good. Modest scuffing to leather bindings, mostly at the edges of the boards and spine ends. Scattered light spotting and soiling. Contemporary ownership inscription on the flyleaf of each volume. Some offsetting to illustrations. Light foxing on the preliminary and terminal pages. Damp stain to the top edge of the frontispiece in Volume II. An internally clean and tight set.
