Reese notes that "it has become common practice among book collectors to assemble the set of three volumes."
Condition: Volume I: Given the poor quality of the original printing, this is a very good copy indeed, with moderate uniform toning to pages, repaired rear hinge affecting endpaper; damp damage to spine with some loss to titling; soiling to boards; dust jacket worn but very good. Still a very nice, tight copy. Volume II: Light wear to boards; hinges barely cracked but the binding tight, contents with light uniform toning, illustration of George Saunders with a printing flaw, else a very good copy. Revised Volume I: Boards soiled with light shelf wear along the edges; contents clean, else a very good copy. Slip case exhibits moderate shelf wear.
