Reese notes that "it has become common practice among book collectors to assemble the set of three volumes."
Condition: Volume I: Given the poor quality of the original printing, this is a fine copy indeed, with light uniform toning to pages, 1.5" closed tear on rear endpaper and a cracked rear hinge. Still a very nice, tight copy. Volume II: Shelf to edges of boards; hinges broken but holding, contents generally bright, with minor repair, a very good copy. Revised Volume I: Boards soiled and worn at the edges; small dent on edge of rear board; modest toning to contents; hinges starting, else a near very good copy.
