Publisher's original gray cloth with titles stamped in gilt on the front board and spine.

    This copy with a gift inscription, in pencil on the second front free endpaper: "Louis M. G. Bourne / From / (Papa) / Edward Bourne". A three-page sketch of Edward Bourne's service with the Third Confederate Regiment as well as his portrait appears on pages 43-45.

    Condition: Very good. The boards are soiled and bear a few modest stains; shelf wear at the corners and spine ends. Contents tight and clean.
