Ownership inscription on front pastedown. Illustrations include the passenger depot, insane asylum and several churches. Credit for the Passenger Depot illustration is given to Mr. H.W. Herrick of New York, formerly of Manchester. Good+. Contains a sketch of the history of Concord, details of several railroads, short histories on the different churches, list of street names, alphabetical list of inhabitants with their addresses and occupations, names of state and county officers, banks, insurance companies, engine companies, court schedule, officers of the prison and several different societies, and advertisements of several businesses. Franklin Pierce, fourteenth President of the United States, is listed with the Law Firm of Pierce & Minot along with Josiah Minot and W. Williams. [together with:] [R.L. Polk & Co.].
