Cincinnati: J. A. James & Co., 1836. First edition. Octavo. xii, 13-336 pages, plus [2] pages of publisher's ads. Facsimile hand-colored folding map: "Map of Texas containing the latest Grants and Discoveries" by E. F. Lee (9.5" x 13.5") laid-in. Modern library-style binding with titles stamped in gilt on the spine. A previous owner has pasted an illustration of the first capitol of Texas on the front pastedown and an illustration of Galveston on the rear pastedown.

    Condition: Binding with modest shelf wear; light scattered foxing to contents; toning to the edge of the pages, otherwise a very good copy.
