    Constitution of the Confederate States of America:
    Adopted by the Congress of the Confederate States, at the City of Montgomery, Ala., March 11th, 1861. To Which is Appended the Ordinance of Ratification, Passed by the Louisiana State Convention March 21st, 1861. Together with the Yeas and Nays Thereon. New Orleans: S.S. Callender & Co., 1861. Miniature 32mo. 29 pages, with one advertisement at the back. Printed paper wraps. Uncut. Stitched together with string.

    A pocket-sized edition of the Confederate Constitution, including the voting records of the members of the Louisiana State Convention regarding the ratification of the constitution. According to Parrish & Willingham, there are only three known copies of this publication found still in existence. Twenty-nine university libraries within the United States have copies of the publication only on microfilm.

    Condition: Lightly toned pages throughout, with uneven page edges. Else very good.
