New York: Isaac Riley, 1810.First Edition. Two small octavo volumes. Xviii, 207, [1, blank]; viii, 224 pages. With one inserted plate and two (of three) folded maps. Lacking the portrait. Contemporary full tree calf, rebacked to style in later brown calf. Later endleaves. Spines ruled in gilt, red gilt morocco lettering labels. Binding worn, some soiling and foxing in text, a few text leaves with worm damage (very little loss of text), one of the maps has several tears along the fold. A fair copy. One of the best descriptions of this region of this period.
