First edition. Octavo. 302 pages. Numerous plates, possibly engraved by D. C. Johnston. Contemporary leather with titles stamped in gilt on a red morocco spine label. Modest wear to the boards. Significant foxing throughout, marginal stain affecting a small portion of the first third of the book though not affecting text, small portion at the top of the title page excised though not affecting text, otherwise a sound, tight copy in very good condition.
