[Denver]: [Press of Barkhausen & Lester], [1895]. Landscape format volume (6.5 x 10 inches). 159, [1] pages, with pagination errors. Photos and illustrations. Original maroon cloth with gilt tile and lightning over mountains illustration on front cover. Binding dampstained and soiled, heavier on rear board, rear board with few small surface holes in cloth. Textblock edges lightly foxed. Small holes from biopredation in both hinges, endpapers with small discolorations. Inscribed on front free endpaper: "Compliments of Artemas J. Haynes" [Haynes was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, class of 1895]. Person cut out of Alpha Zeta fraternity photo with minor loss of text on verso. Few over-opened pages and occasional smudges. Very good.
