    [The Society of the First Division]. History of the First Division During the World War 1917-1919. Philadelphia: John C. Winston Company, 1922. First edition. Octavo. Illustrated, some color. Rosters. Publisher's original blue cloth lettered and decorated in gilt with the emblem of the division on the front board. Slight fading to spine; light wear to corners and boards, else very good condition. The First Division was the first American division to fire a shot in WWII and served over 90 days in active combat zones. Maps are listed in the Contents section, but no maps are present in the book; yet, there are no signs of any leaves being removed from the book.
