There follows a listing of the Laws of the Republic of Texas with acts and resolutions on a myriad of topics, including such diverse matters as: numerous resolutions providing for the relief of various private citizens, an act to protect the frontier, an act to provide for the local defence [sic] by organizing the militia, an act defining the boundaries of the Republic of Texas, an act to suppress gambling, resolution for the relief of free persons of color, resolution for the benefit of Texian prisoners taken by the Mexicans, and others.
