Octavo. 336 pages. With seven full-page engravings, including frontispiece, inserted throughout. Publisher's full dark brown cloth, boards decoratively ruled and paneled in blind, spine lettered in gilt. Rebacked, preserving the original spine, new endleaves, publisher's ads and one free-endpaper bound in the front. Boards restored. Some rubbing, soiling to boards, text toned and intermittently foxed. Still, a very good copy of this harrowing account.
