    [Slavery]. [George Bourne]. Picture of Slavery in the United States of America. Middletown: Edwin Hunt, 1834. First edition. Eighteenmo. 224, (1) pages. Frontispiece and ten additional engravings depicting scenes of slavery. Contemporary cloth over thin boards with paper spine title label. Covers rather worn and soiled with some dampstaining and slight bubbling to cloth. Some abrading to spine ends and corners. Lightly faded spine with some splitting and somewhat rubbed sunned label. Moderate foxing and light toning throughout. Front endpapers have some writing and small ink spots. Light dampstaining at fore-edge and top corner through first thirty pages. A few middle signatures slightly proud. A better than good copy. Sabin 6921.
