Part III. Washington: Government Printing Office. 1878. Octavo. Volume II, Part III only. [1355]-1883, [10] pages. Illustrated, including eight folding maps (some in color) and eighteen folding charts or plans. Black cloth with blind stamped titles on spine and "U.S. Government Bindery" on both boards along inner borders. Small repairs to binding, most likely re-cased. Binding rubbed and soiled. Cloth creases and small indentations on rear board. Front hinge starting. Title page trimmed along outer edge, no loss to text, with minor dampstain along lower margin. Paper loss in outer margin of pages 1649/1650, no loss to text. Folding maps and charts with fold and edge wear, few fold separations and small tears. Creasing, moderate foxing and occasional soiling. Overall very good.
