Philadelphia: G. G. Evans, 1860. Edition not stated. Small octavo. 320 pages, plus 22 pages of publisher's ads. Illustrations by G. G. White. Publisher's embossed blue cloth binding. Binding slightly cocked; boards rubbed, spine ends badly chipped. Overopened in several places, cracking spine. Many newspaper articles pasted in, causing paper to brown. Generally very good.

    Tipped to rear pastedown is an original document dated January 30, 1777 concerning land rights to the "trail of land in the Long-reach Bottom on the south side of the West Branch of Susquehannah," signed by several members of the local governing body, include John Wetzel, father of Lewis Wetzel, who was killed by Indians in 1787.
