[Larry McMurtry, association]. Joseph Nimmo, Jr. Report of the Internal Commerce of the United States. Washington: Government Printing Office, 1885. First edition. Larry McMurtry's copy with his bookplate affixed to the front pastedown. Octavo. [1]-562 pages. Five folded lithograph maps with original color, including the important "The Range and Ranch Cattle Area of the United States 1884". Two additional maps "The Principal Transportation Line West of Chicago, St. Louis and New Orleans", and "Principal Transportation Lines East of the Mississippi". Original brown cloth with blind-stamped rules on the front and rear boards. Ex-library with typed paper title labels and the usual library stamps mounted to the spine.
