Four folio volumes including: 1) Volume XIV, Number 679-731 (January 1, 1870 through December 31, 1870). [1]-832 pages. Quarter leather over marbled boards. Boards detached, leather dry. 2) Volume XV, Number 732-783 (January 7, 1871 through December 30, 1871). [1]-1240 pages. Quarter leather over marbled boards. 3) Volume XVII, Number 836-887 (January 4, 1873 through December 27, 1873). [1]-1176. Publisher's binding. Boards detached, paper brittle. 4) Volume XX, Number 992-1044 (January 1, 1876 through December 30, 1876). Quarter leather binding. Boards detached, paper brittle. In addition to the major defects mentioned, all volumes will have defects common to these large folios on high acid content paper. Expect brittle paper, closed tears, occasional loose signatures and some loss to the pages. All volumes in fair to good condition.
