Five octavo volumes. xxii, 488, 45, [1, blank]; viii, 560, 72; viii, 580, 28; viii, 626, [2], 16; vii, [1, blank], 779, [1, blank], 36 pages. Frontispiece portrait in Volume I. Atlas volume not present. Contemporary half brown calf over marbled boards, spines stamped in black with brown gilt morocco lettering labels. Spines uniformly sunned, binding worn, some labels a bit loose, two labels lacking. Some hinges just starting. Text toned and somewhat foxed. Bookplate of William Wayne in each volume. Still, a very good set.
