    [George Montague] Wheeler. U.S. Geographical Surveys West of the 100th Meridian. Topographical and Land Classification Atlas Sheets. [Washington: Government Printing Office, 1877]. First edition, complete with nine color lithograph maps on nine folding sheets, as called for. Comprises: Sheet 53C and 61B: portions of Central Colorado; Sheet 61C: portions of Southwest Colorado; Sheet 61D: portions of Southern Colorado; Sheet 65D: portions of Southeastern California; Sheet 69B and 79A: Portions of Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico; Sheet 70C: portions of Northern New Mexico; and Sheet 77B: portions of Central New Mexico. The maps are housed in the original folder of issue. The folder is worn and detached at the spine; the maps are in very good condition with occasional clean splits in the folds.
