Bookplates are toned with scattered areas of foxing, handling crimps and edge chips. Attractively matted, glazed and framed in two separate frames to 16.75 x 25.75 and 20 x 21 inches.
One frame features six bookplates by Peter Rushton Maverick and his son Peter. Included are two bookplates from the Erasmus Hall Academy and four from individuals. The second frame features six bookplates by different designers. Included is the bookplate of George Warner, engraved by himself and accompanied by a separate signature label signed and dated in ink "George Warner 1793".
