    Bookplates toned with scattered areas of light foxing. Attractively matted, glazed and framed in three separate frames to 14.5 x 15.75, 16 x 14.5 and 19 x 10.75 inches. Other than a border surrounding the owner's name, bookplates termed "labels" do not have additional decorative elements. Eight labels in this group are from the Federal period. Including labels of Jeremiah Wadsworth (1743-1804), Connecticut Representative in the First Federal Congress In Philadelphia, 1789; George B. Corkhill (1838-1886), soldier, editor and U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia.
