Attractively matted, glazed and framed to 16.25 x 9 and 16.25 x 9 inches. Including the bookplate of Robert R. Livingston (1746-1813), who served on the committee that wrote the Declaration of Independence and, as U.S. Minister to France, who negotiated the Louisiana Purchase in 1803; Thomas Calvert (1678-1760), his coat of arms was incorporated into the Maryland state flag; Charles Carroll; last surviving signer of the Declaration of Independence.
