[Anonymous]. Lives, Adventures Exploits Frank and Jesse James With An Account of the Tragic Death of Jesse James, April 3d, 1882. The Last Daring Feats of the James Confederacy, In the Robbery and Murder on the Rock Island Train, July 14th, 1881; and at Glendale, Mo., Sept. 17th, 1881. [N.p.]: [N.d., circa 1892]. First, thus. Octavo (18.7 cm). Frontispiece portrait of Jesse James. Pictorial wrappers. Slight toning to pages, as is usual, but a remarkable copy in about fine condition.

In the standard reference work Six-Guns and Saddle Leather: A Bibliography of Books and Pamphlets on Western Outlaws and Gunman, Ramon Adams states that this particular edition was published in 1892, after an edition originally printed in 1882. However, he also indicated that though the books have the same title, they are in fact, two different books. Though Adam's opinion of the book in terms of historical accuracy isn't very high, he does state that it is scarce.
