    A Near Contemporary Copper Plaque Commemorating Lincoln's Gettysburg Address

    [Abraham Lincoln]. Large Copper Plaque Entitled, "Gettysburg". [N.p., n.d., ca. 1880]. Copper plaque with the text of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, the date it was delivered, and a facsimile of Lincoln's signature. Approximately 12.5 x 18.5 inches. Text is surrounded by floral borders, with a central profile portrait of Lincoln at the top. One small hole visible at bottom, a bit of minor oxidation, else fine. Framed (frame a bit worn, due to the weight of this item). Size of frame approximately 22 x 28 inches. Overall, a fine item. Handsome and uncommon. From the James and Deborah Boyd Collection.
