Pocket at rear pastedown containing a small phonograph record recording of Earhart's broadcast address from London in May 1932. Octavo. [x], 218, [1, ad] [3, blanks]. Photographic frontispiece and illustrations inserted throughout. Brown cloth with title stamped in white at front board and spine. Touches of shelfwear to lower edges. Spine ends mildly frayed. Significant wear to lower board at fore edge, resulting in loss of cloth. Page edges toned. darkening to rear endpapers due to pasted-in pocket. Very good or better.
