Folio (16 x 12 inches; 450 x 350 mm.). 21, [3, blank] pages; 20 photogravure plates tipped to heavy gray paper stock. Publisher's original brown paper-covered boards, front board lettered in gilt; rebacked to style in very dark green leather. Inner margin of half-title neatly repaired; small paper repair to right edge of final plate mount; rear hinge strengthened, with endpaper glued to plate mount at gutter; occasional light soiling or wear to textual leaves. Boards lightly worn with a few small scuffs to lower portion of front board; three small splashes to front board; edges lightly worn, boards exposed at corners. A very good sophisticated copy. Ex-Karl Brown, purportedly the silent film cinematographer, with his bookplate.
