Publisher's maroon paper over boards backed in blue cloth, upper board stamped in white, spine stamped in gilt; original illustrated dust jacket. Corners just bumped, head and foot of spine just pushed. Cream endpapers; small penciled bookseller's notation to the front pastedown. Internally clean and tight, all edges trimmed, top edge stained black. Dust jacket unclipped ($3.00); minor edgewear, lightly rubbed. Near fine book with near fine dust jacket.

Octavo. 224 pages. Foot of spine just pushed. White endpapers; upper and lower wrapper from the Signet paperback edition (1953, complete and unabridged) mounted to the free endpapers. Internally clean and tight, all edges trimmed; very minor foxing to edges. Dust jacket unclipped (9s 6d); amateur repairs to vertical splits to front flap and back panel, blurb pasted to the front flap, "The Demolished Man was voted the outstanding science fiction novel of the Eleventh World Science Fiction Convention," minor edgewear, somewhat creased and rubbed, top edge reinforced with cellotape on the verso.
