Inserted portrait frontispiece. Publisher's dark blue cloth lettered in gilt at front board and ruled in blind. in original dust jacket. Cloth edgeworn; gilt dulled; boards rubbed with touches of soil; ownership signature at front pastedown; mild toning throughout text. Dust jacket heavily toned with several splashes; corners worn with loss, particularly at top edge of spine panel and top corner of front panel; splitting at folds. Very good in a good dust jacket.
