Octavo. 297 pp. Publisher's light blue cloth with red-lettered spine; original illustrated dust jacket. Minor edgewear, head and foot of spine just pushed, dampstain to lower corner of front board. Small dampstain to front pastedown, small ink initials to rear pastedown. Internally clean; fore edge untrimmed, top edge slightly darkened. Dust jacket unclipped ($2.00); minor edgewear, chipping to foot of spine panel, spine sunned, some soiling on back panel, somewhat rubbed, colors still bright, minor dampstaining on verso. Very good book with very good dust jacket.

Moderate edgewear, chipping to head and foot of spine, spine sunned and creased, corners slightly rounded, 1-inch tear to front panel, dampstain and chipping with color bleed to lower edge of rear panel and text block. Ink stamp to front free endpaper recto, minor dampstaining to front hinge. Internally generally clean; publisher's ink stamp to front blank recto, minor intermittent dampstaining, top edge slightly foxed, fore edge untrimmed. Good.
